The name of the project is a play on Marshall McLuhan’s The Medium is the Massage1, which in turn is his play on his own often-quoted phrase ‘The medium is the message’.
The project’s first output was #tickboxexercise1, a tongue-in-cheek all-in-one greetings card, to cover all of the recipient’s predicted celebrations for the coming year.
